my car battery died and now my compustar remote starter doesn't work how do i reset the starter?

So has the battery been charged back up?

the car is working fine but my stater wont work.

reprogram the remotes.

1. cycle the key from off to the on postion 5 times (do not start the car)

2. Push lock on first remote  (car should flash once)

3. Push lock on second remote (car should flash once)

4. wait for car to flash twice

see if it worked

You can also press the lock and trunk button simultaneously (don't hold them, just press and release) and that will take the remote starter out of valet mode.

Will it still work if you only have one remote?

Yes it's okay if you only have one remote.

Did you try this process and it didn't do anything?

Did you hear any clicking coming from under the dash, or did the park lights flash while you were doing this programming?
