Hey, I've got a couple of green and blue vertical lines on my laptop screen that appeared out of nowhere and I cannot get rid of them. I was wondering what caused it and what type of repair could be done to fix it, and if I can get it repaired at Future Shop, how much it costs.

You could connect your laptop up to a working monitor to rule out if its the laptop screen.

That's a good troubleshooting step that clicker22 mentions. Connect your laptop to an external monitor or TV. If you still see the green lines, then it's most likely a graphics card/motherboard issue. If there are no lines on the external screen, it could be a simple cable issue, either lose or needing to be replaced, or it good indeed be the screen itself.
You can take it into the technicians at Futureshop and they can determine the issue for you, and provide an accurate quote of repair costs. How much will depend on what the issue is.
