I bought a Samsun laptop on less than 2 months ago. Unfortunately, I dropped it on the floor and the screen cracked. I wonder if Future Shop has any protection policy for new products.

There is no warranty that will cover physical damage of any kind. That is what insurance is for. As XL said, check with your credit card company (if you bought with one) and see if they have any insurance built in for large purchases. If not, you may want to consider claiming it on your own insurance if you have any that covers personal contents. However, that *may* cause your premium to go up. Talk with your insurance broker/company if you're looking at doing that, as they'll advise you on the best course of action.
