If your computer only has a Wireless G adapter in it, you'll only be able to receive the Wireless G signal. To work with Wireless N, you'll need to pick up a Wireless N adapter for your computer. You can get Wireless N USB adapters which will work with desktops and laptops, or Wireless N PCI cards which can be installed into most modern desktop towers.
If you do have a Wireless N adapter in your computer, you may need to change some settings on your router to enable the Wireless N broadcast. Changing the settings are specific to each router and set up; refer to the User's Guide that came with the computer for details.
Hope that helps!
