Hey there,

I was hoping someone could help me.

I purchased a laptop at futureshop last year, about 6 months in the Hard drive whent

and Acer gave me a new one through futureshop. I noticed that since they gave me a new one

I am unable to re format it when I try it says "Hard drive configuration is not set to the factory default. Restore aborted."

the reason I was trying to re format was I am trying to log onto some websites but they wont allowe me.

For example, when i try to log onto

http://www.fortisbc.com/Careers/Pages/Current-job-opportunities.aspx

and click on Current Opportunities it wont display.

this is just one website next to many. I have contacted the wbesite for help but they say it works for them.

It's probably something to do with the cache, this problem can be solved through the registry. Some research will help www.google.ca You basically have to clear out the other website's ips from your registry. (Forgot how to do it lol)
