Auto-suggest helps you quickly narrow down your search results by suggesting possible matches as you type.
First, try powering the laptop down, then removing the AC adapter and the battery for a minute, to let the laptop discharge all its power. Then, reinstall the battery and plug the AC adapter back in and try again. With any luck, the power settings will have reset, and your computer will be able to start up properly.
Failing that, the problem you're having is usually associated with a failing motherboard. In this case, bring your laptop to your nearest Future Shop for assistance. A defect in the motherboard is generally covered by warranty or Service Plan.
