Hmm...
How did you damage your head?
Did you open the case?
Did the head strike the platter?
Future Shop does not have a clean room to perform such recovery. You willl need to bring the drive to a recovery house with a clean room. Expect a few hundred dollars for your efforts.

A professional diagnosised the problem. The head was probably damaged over time.
The case was opened.
MHA failure. H2 has popped. Spring failure.
The quote for repair is more than I can afford.
