A few day ago, the sound surround stop work

I am having a problem.
I brought a sony HCD - HDZ284 sound surround system and a LG 42-LH55 tV over the christmas. I am not a tech guy! Connectpro installed everything. A few day ago, the sound surround stop work with the TV, The sound comes from the actual tv, not the sound surround. I have tied the tuner and the DVD, and they both work ok with the sound surround system. I have tried calling connectpro, but I have to make an appointment with future shop. I would really appreciate if someone can help me connectmy system the way it should be done. Oh, my cable carrier is telus, and I have one of there boxes.

Try looking at the back of your Surround sound receiver. Find where the cable box is plugged into (you could trace the wire right from the cable box to the surround sound system) and make sure the cables are still connected and tight. If your sound still isn't working, then there could be a short in the cable, in which case you would need a new cable. I believe that Futureshop offers a warranty on their installation services, so you could make an appointment and get them to look at it if you are unsure of what you are doing.
