One thing about calibrations is they aren't for everybody. A calibration is to make the settings and colours in the tv as accurate as possible. I only say as accurate as possible because certified isf technitions cannot get every TV 100% accurate, but -should- be able to get it within 2% accuracy, or what is considered acceptable. If you really dislike the calibration I suggest putting your tv picture mode into the cinema option or standard option as they are closer to accurate than any sport or game or vivid setting. If you didn't like it in home I suggest you should have mentioned something to the technition while he was at your home, because there are things that they can do to make the tv brighter or dimmer.
