I would like to place an lcd tv in my office to run powerpoint presentations in continous loop. Is there any way that I can do this by plugging a flash drive into the tv?

Short answer is no.  Because your TV doesn't have powerpoint installed, you won't be able to run a power point presentation off of a flash stick.  You can run a cable to a laptop and run it that way, thats the most simple solution.
