Is there any lights coming on the TV when you hit power? Is it just when you hit the power button on the remote, or have you tried the power button on the TV?
Some obvious things to check:
- Make sure the batteries in your remote aren't dead.
- Make sure the TV's power cable is plugged securely into the TV and to the plug on the wall or power bar.
- Make sure the breaker that powers the TV's plug hasn't tripped, and the power bar hasn't tripped, is on and letting power through.
- If there are other components plugged into the same plug as the TV make sure they are working.
- Make sure it isn't a loose video connection or HDMI cable. (it could be the TV is on but not getting a signal.)
If all that fails to bring the TV back to life, then it is time to call the manufacturer and have a service call. Insignia's Canadian service number is 1-877-467-4289
