I will soon be purchasing this flat screen. Do you have a recommendation for either a home theater package or separate components (receiver, speakers..) for this particular brand of display. Also I was wondering what your thoughts were on wireless speakers ? Finally, I have all the wiring paths and electrical outlets already in place (new house). What does connect pro charge to install the display (tilt mount above fireplace) and wire the system ?

There is no surround sound system that is a "best match" for this TV - and all surround sound systems will work perfectly with it. The most important factor in deciding what system to recommend to you is your budget - so please post another message telling us the maximum you would like to spend. Please also tell us how big a room your "home theatre" is going to be located in.

There are three "tiers" of services costing between $200 and $500 for Future Shop to install your 46" TV and surround sound system. Click here for more details about the services that are provided at each tier.

You mentioned this was a new house with pre-installed wiring. Have you checked that all the wiring is in place for three front speakers and two surround speakers? Does the wiring come out near the base of the wall, or was the wiring installed with the intention of installing "hidden" in-wall front speakers and in-ceiling surround speakers? The TV is going to be above the fireplace - a common place to put it, but a lousy location from the point of view of ergonomics (it should be mounted at eye level when seated for best long term viewing comfort) - have you given some though to where the front center speaker is going to be located? Has a cable (usually shielded audio) been installed for connecting a subwoofer? Where do all the speaker cables terminate - behind the TV, or in a location which would be convenient to place an AV receiver and if so is there an HDMI video cable run from the location where the AV receiver would be place to a location behind where the TV would be mounted? Sorry for all the questions - but these are all issues that might determine what speakers you need to get and what your options are for installing a component surround sound system. Also, if all of these questions simply confuse or overwhelm you, you might consider contacting your local Future Shop to arrange for a pre-sale in home assessment to provide you with recommendations. You would have to pay for this service - but it is well worth it if it keeps you from making an expensive but incorrect (or in the long term, unsatisfactory) purchasing decision.

Re: TCP46G15

Thank you for the response. Your answers were  neither overwhelming nor confusing. They were clear, concise and very helpful. I have made arrangements for a pre sale home assessment.

Thanks again,
