Hi I have a 2005 Toyota sienna with a FM remote starter, after opening the hood once it wont work anymore as in no response what so ever from the remote van.Tried changing batteries the remote lights up and gives sound but that's it couldn't find the hood pin so took it to a mechanic and he couldn't locate it as well (could there not be one??)The remotes I got with my van(from Toyota) that only lock and unlock didn't work either for a few days too, but now work perfectly fine.
Anyway this problem could be fixed with without taking it in to see a remote tech?? Thanks.
