I have a 2006 chev trailblazer with the 1074 installed by future shop. Awhile ago I disconnected the battery to do some engine work and after that it would only run for about 3 seconds and quit. I went to future shop and they fixed it by reprogramming the control box under the dash. I had the truck serviced last week and its doing it again. What is the procedure to re-program the unit? I dont want to drive 100 kms round trip to have this done if i can do it myself. I'm assumming its not getting the tach signal?

Not tach signal.

It's the transponder module.   It's not sending the correct 'key' signal to have the engine stay running.

I would need to know the type of module used in your install to give any kind of info.

I'm not home right now to look at my receipt won't be home till fri night. I can tell you that the module was in a green box (bet that's a lot of help) and was the module that had the most features and was the most expensive one I believe it was around $100.00 hope this helps a little

Seems like a idatalink.com module

You should be able to go on their website and find the manual.

But I do recommend going back to the shop that installed it and asking them to go through it with you.

Because if you do it and something goes wrong it will not be covered under any warranty terms.
