Re: replacing old remote starter

Hi Justin,

I always recommend going with a brand that we sell because they're brands that I trust and am familiar with.  That, and any warranty-related issues that require labour are covered by us (i.e. we need to swap out the brain for some reason).  If you purchase from somewhere else the workmanship is covered, but if there any product-related issues, you will likely be charged if we have to remove the unit or swap parts.

As far as ease of installation goes, it's a case-by-case basis.  Just because there is already a remote starter installed doesn't necessarily mean it's easier for us to replace it with another one.  In fact, sometimes the opposite can occur depending on the quality of the existing install.  Hope this helps!

Re: replacing old remote starter

If you want futureshop to install the starter. Then get a nordic brand starter

To me it sounds like the previously installed starter may have installation or wiring issues.

What was the problem you had with the prostart? I'd have the connectpro tech check that out first before you put another one on top of it
