ok here is what i have (competitor)
the sub is a 200w rms single voice coil sub at 4ohms
the amp rms is: 4 ohms: 120 watts x 1 chan OR 2 ohms: 200 watts x 1 chan.
So my QUESTION is can i wite the sub to the amp so that the amp will output 200w rms x 1channel at 2 ohms to the subwoffer?
i checked cructhfield and rockford fosgate's website but they only show you how to wire the sub to the amp at 120w rms x 1 channel at 4 ohms
u see the subs rms is 200w rms, so i want the amp to send 200w to the sub, is it possible, if so how?

Since your sub is 4 ohms, you would use the 4 ohm rating on the amp, with the specs you provided, that would be 120 watts.
You dont get to choose which rating to use, it depends on what the load connected to your amp is: 4 ohms. The amp is giving both ratings simply because the amp is stable at 2 ohms, and is able to accept that load.

Replaced that subwoofer with a dual voice coil (DVC) model and then you can take advantage of the amplifiers higher output.
