HD and Video Sources

I plug the HDMI cable of Panasonic BD65 to the Pioneer VSX-520 receiver and connect to Panasonic G15 TV, snowy picture & broken sound. What's wrong?

What brand of HDMI cable did u buy?  Have you tried plugging another HDMI cable to see if it is in fact a problem with it?

Try different HDMI inputs - it could be a problem with that specific one.

I use the one I used to connect to the older DVD player which worked with the "DVD HDMI" plug with the said receiver (and don't know the brand of that cable) but not the "BD HDMI" plug with the BD-65. I've ordered a new Purtek from FS and is on the way. Hope this one will work. Thanks for your advice.
