I bought an HDTV LG 47LH55, 4 days ago, I have shaw direct satetlite, and I have hooked it all up and the picture is great but I can't get any sound. I think my problem is the Shaw Direct boc is an DVI cord to HDMI and I DVI only carries picture unlike HDMI which I understand. Now my question is what kind of audio cord do I need in order to get the sound to work. In the mean time I am using composite video.
Thanks

You are correct in that DVI only has video signals.
You should look at your Shaw box. At minimum it should have the red and white stereo RCA cables, but try to see if there is an optical or co-ax port for your audio.
