I have the permanent loan of my son's PS3, and I like to use it to watch Netflix. Sometime in the last month or so, it started showing the recently viewed page when I connect. And I can't get back to the Netflix main menu where you can browse through categories like tv shows, movies, documentaries, etc.

I called netflix and they say it is in the settings of the PS3. So I went to the Settings menu but I see no thing there that would direct it to connect to a specific page on Netflix.

Can anyone help?

I haven't had any problems running Netflix on my PS3 so I suspect it is some strange fluke.

I always hate this suggestion - but you can remove it and reinstall it if you run out of options.  In the main PS3 Screen, Press the "Triangle" button instead of "X" to bring up a Netflix options menu. Your options are "Start," "Delete" and "Information."  Select Delete and start from scratch.

I can try that, but I'm afraid I don't know how to start over. Where would I find the information to install Netflix again?

Are you sure there isn't someplace in the PS3 settings where you type in the url for connecting? I wondered if maybe that was the problem, but I couldn't find any place to check.

The Netflix icon should remain there. Just click it again to re-install it
