I do not really agree with this video as being a "good" video for overclocking your video card. You can actually achieve higher overclocks by not linking the shader clock and core clock as shown in this video.  Playing a game for 10 minutes and saying everything is ok is in no way a good way in testing a overclock. A better way is download a GPU tempature monitor program such as Everest and also download ATI TOOL. Even if you have a NVIDIA graphics card you can still use ATI TOOL to test your overclocks just do not use ATI TOOL to overclock your Nvidia graphics card. ATI TOOL will put your graphics card through a heat test and also test it for  artifacts. During these test you want to watch your temps and make sure your cards tempature is running within specs if not you coud possibly shorten the life of your graphics card.

RivaTuner

RiverTuner and GPU-Z is all you need. RivaTuner offers the best support and GPU-Z gives you all the info you need about card speeds, temp, etc.

ATI Tools is not recommended for nVidia cards. Although they are supported I have many friends who have fried their cards because of faulty reporting since ATI and nVidia function differently.

Jay28 did not recommend using ATI Tools for overclocking nVidia cards.  Rather, he simply recommended using it for a stress test.  Just thought I'd clarify that point.

The problem actually has to do with the video capture software that is available for recording the screen.  It just doesn't give very high quality recordings (I'm sure there are some expensive recorders that have better resolution, but the free and low cost ones just don't give the best results).  Even on videos taken with actual cameras, unless you want a 60MB or larger file, you can't get the quality (and can you imagine how long it would take to download a 60MB video)?

[ Edited ]

Well what about those people that ZOOM into a section of the screen so that they don't show all of their impressive and monsterous screen real estate in a little box? That guy up there was mostly working on tiny windows anyways - or at least for what I saw when scanning through it.

Downloading a 60mb file only takes a mere 71 seconds :smileywink: - THAT IS IF AND ONLY IF Future Shop's server is blazing amazing and if my ISP isn't unethically throttling my download speed.

LOL, which reminds me, one time I was on the phone with a samsung rep, and I downloaded a 153mb driver/software in 3 minutes.
