Heard (competitor) is currently offering steelbooks for AC3. I understand that Future Shop is affiliated with (competitor) now .. would you guys happen to have the Assassin's Creed 3 steelbooks?

I thought this steelbook would hold five disks (like the one for Revelations held four) to hold all the Assassins Creed games. =(

Well I'm pretty sure its Ubisoft whos doing the steelbook and not FS so guess they wanted to keep it to only hold ACIII.

Would of loved it to hold all the assassin's creed game too but new start for assassins creed with new steelbook isn't half bad.

The steelbook for Revelations wasn't exactly a Revelations one per se, it merely came out with the release of Revelations. It's an Assassin's Creed Collection steelbook that holds all the discs for the first four games.

With Assassin's Creed III, we are seeing the move of the Assassins across the Atlantic into North America, which is a move we need to see in order to connect Altair and the Masyaf Assassins to Desmond in a direct sense. At this point, we know that Desmond is related to Altair and Ezio, and now hopefully we will be given some context as to how these guys are connected to Connor (who is a Native American, but still somehow related to Desmond, likely through an interracial coupling of some kind), and hopefully this will help close some of the gaps between Altair, Ezio and Desmond.

It would be neat to see a game where one is playing entirely as Desmond in a present day setting, moving against the Templars in a more direct sense than he is already doing. Perhaps this game is leading to that...

Yeah, I believe that is how the game is heading also. If you played through Revelations entirely it does hint to that. Ubisoft said they would never do an entire game of just Desmond, but I have a feeling Desmond is being controlled by his future son (maybe even daughter). I think this because *spoiler* in the end of Revelations Desmond and Ezio talk, maybe meaning Desmond is also a figment of the animus.

So Desmond goes into an Animus whilst being controlled by someone in another Animus? interesting theory, but complicates things a touch, though if you want to take an Inception line, I suppose you could make the argument.
