Hey, does anyone know if you get the steelbook if you purchase the Collecters edition ($99.99) also, or is the steelbook just for the 69.99 edition??

Acording to the collector's edition page , you should receive a Steelbook.

If you're buying in-store, I don't know for certain, but I can tell you about the pre-order SteelBook for Mortal Kombat, which also was published by WB games and was given as a pre-order bonus at Future Shop.

The Mortal Kombat SteelBooks were distinct items from the game. They weren't packaged specially together. So, it's very likely that at the cashier, they will allow you to take one with you.

I pre-ordered the Special Edition online (since the stores could only pre order the regular edition)when I heard about the bonus steelbook (early Sept.).  I STILL NEVER RECEIVED THE STEELBOOK AND I'VE BEEN DEALING WITH CS SINCE. I'm guessing that I'll never receive it, or at this point the sequel will be out by the time I get it.

Bottom line Futureshop is not honoring this promotion.
