I believe those steel book are for mid-night launch stores. At least I haven't seen it at mine, only the Curb Stomp First Aid Kit was available and those should be reserved for pre-orders. But who knows, maybe they are hiding somewhere.

I guess we'll just have to see what happens in the morning. Please report back if you get your hands on one of them.

Hi Pstratto,

My store in Scarborough (Toronto, Ontario) isn't doing a midnight launch and we have a limited amount of Steelbooks, I'd guess that most locations not doing a midnight launch have received a similar limited amount. I'd recommend calling your local Future Shop and asking if they will have any Steelbooks for launch!

I just checked and Sudbury is no longer on the midnight list, so they didn't get any steelbooks then.

Only if they have any left, also a user reported that he was charged for the steelbook, so if your lucky enough to get a store with the steel book, show them the online fine print where it says "not for sale, free with xxxxxxxx, xxxxxx,xxxxx"

Already got it. Steelbook case was given at checkout, free of charge. It's surprising that Future Shop did something right for once. =D
