So is Mass Effect 3 a 3 disk game? At first I thought it was supposed to hold all three games but them I remembered ME2 was a two disk game.

invent 6 makes a good point, how many discs is ME3? If it's one disc, the steelbook is going to need at least 4 spaces to hold all three games
