Then there's all the summer films - The Avengers, Men in Black 3, Battleship, Prometheus, Amazing Spider-man, and (of course) Dark Knight Rises (although I would like a bundle with empty Steelbooks for the first two titles)

They already released a Batman Begins steelbook, and released two Dark Knight steelbooks. One was a FS Exclusive when the movie came out with everything, and then one was part of the Warner re-release with just the one disc.

But to go back to the topic -- While it would be nice to see all kinds of steelbooks this year, the only one I truly want would be a Dark Knight Rises one -- which I'm sure is more than a no-brainer.

Any word on Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, already got the first one in an Ironpack and hoping to get another metal case to match. Really would have loved a Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol steelbook, but I'm not complaining about the exclusive we are getting (I actually prefer more bonus material over Steelbooks).

Steelbooks for the first two titles)

I'm HOPING it's like the international versions are, which all seem to be a charcter shot of Sherlock in profile holding the revolver facing towards the spine, then a corresponding shot of Watson on the back, facing the spine as well. Would be awesome, but anything will do for me.

Pretty much all they good movies have been named, but I'm hoping the inevitible 3D (wide) release of Avatar in 3D gets the royal steelbook treatment. It only made over a billion dollars worldwide, so hopefully Future Shop will secure it.

I will wait on getting Avatar 3D and Titanic in hopes they are available in steel/metal. Also alot of us did not and cannot get Iron Man. Be a good idea now since Avengers is setting records.

Re: 2012 releases you would like to see in a Steelbook

I agree with WKRP, i missed the Iron Man Steelbook Release, and i just cant justify paying $600 on (competitor) for a copy.

it would be just wonderful if Futureshop could order a another run of the Iron Man Steelbooks.

theres no quetion that as soon as word got out that this was being re-released, they would fly off the shelves and Pre-orders would be sky high.

Please Futureshop, Order Some more Iron Man Steelbooks!!!
