Re: FAQ: Pre-orders

Dose FS have a list of previous pricing.  My Bambi Metal shipped at full price (36.99), and I know it was 29.99 at shipping time.  Of course now it's back above $30.

So when I bring it to (or call) customer service will I be able to get the $29.99 price??

Usually, no.

If you bring it in at the time of the sale, they can adjust it, but now that the price is over, they can't go back in time and give it to you at the lowest price ever.  (I don't think any store does that).

Next time what you can do is buy one in-store, and then just return your pre-order.

My BAMBIs which I ordered online still have not yet arrived (neither has a copy of THE LION KING for that matter).  So last week I bought BAMBI in-store at the cheaper price and will return the pre-orders when they arrive.

Re: FAQ: Pre-orders

@ Atomic

I did the same with The Lion King and Bambi.  I pre-ordered and got a copy in store.  Of course, the prices were mixed up so I had to contact FS CS to correct everything.  I didn't get them either and on top of that, my copy of TLK, I also got it cheaper with a coupon.

So, what's the point of pre-ordering items if it's TOTALLY worthless???  I know, that,s the way to secure our item but still...

That's what I thought.

My main beef is that the price SHOULD have been adjusted BEFORE it shipped.  If FS has a lowest price guarentee like (competitor).

But if I lost out then I lost out, and I'll think twice before pre-ordering anything from FS
