Re: Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Steelbook?

I still kind of wish it looked like a Zune.

But am amused at how they took ALL of the criticisms of the original steelbook to heart (which I still love to death to this day). Has anyone confirmed the title on the spine yet?

I am not sure about the title on the spine; I am happy with this one @pikachuforever; Disney does have some "innovative" artworks but baby Groot pushing that  button bomb using the stolen batteries does not represents the whole movie. Sadly neither does the the Microsoft Zune which only showed up at the end of the movie.  While they could of been lazy and went with the same Discman artwork to match the first one; but instead changed the colour and put a cassette inside saying Vol 2.  I really don't mind this artwork and in all honesty I will reserve judgement until it is in my hands because I hated the mock up for the first film and I really like it when I finally got it in my hands. @bevanz19

The French copy is still available, no difference apart from the "J" card being bilingual. Smiley Happy

It's been up all week and now the English version is sold out. What did you expect?

Re: Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Steelbook?

up all week? oh, i didnt know that, i was just going off the posts in here from the 12th that said it was up online.

To sell out between the 12th and the 13th at night when I checked, no, I wouldn't expect that. I would expect them to carry a normal alloted stock amount and to plan for some sales. This seems to be the norm though in 2017 with Steelbooks as they seem to carry 20 and have it sell out in a day.

Back in 2016, 2015, etc these steelbooks seemed to never sell out, so what are they doing differently?
