They are just mock up images. And besides, Warner Bros. is a HUGE player for SteelBooks in Canada (along with Alliance) and they both know that G1's are bad for Blu-Rays.

Also, when Warner released the product video of Clash of the Titans it was the same thing. It looked G1, but it was G2 in the end.
