the reason we need early confirmation is because some of our overseas orders will ship before the release here in Canada, thus causing us to pay more for something that we could have bought from Futureshop, and preventing us from buying locally. if my order from oversease ships before we get confirmation that it will release here, i am not going to bother getting it here
i am not going to cancel my overseas order before i get confirmation that i can order the same item here. if i did i would be risking not getting the item at all, as they do sell out from the overseas retailers.
