Hi Brana,
Just wanted to ask if there is a possibility of this movie being released in a steelbook on blu-ray.
Has Futureshop considered it at all and has there been any talks of it with the studio of releasing it as a steelbook?
Any details would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Jiminy Jillickers! Do official talks about this stuff actually happen months before the movie is released in theatres?

I think we are being a teeny bit pro-active here considering the movie has not even been released in the theatres yet. Chances are Brana cannot comment as the discussions would not have happened yet but considering Iron Man 1 was a good SB seller for FS, its pretty much warranted that they would pursue an SB for Iron Man 2 (unless they cannot come to an agreement with the studio).
Im more curious about avatar at this point really, it looks like the blu-ray release of it might be delayed considerably since its still going strong in the theatres.

This will be Steelbook for sure. Barring a nuclear explosion or natural disaster that wipes out 20% or more of the world's population. ![]()

I want this cases to be all black, since Iron Man were all RED. Maybe add a bit of Gold would be awesome!

Any updates on this steelbook?
A competitor already announced a possible steelbook release, it still could be a tin or a metalpak but it will be a metal case for sure.
Brana do you know if it will be confirmed soon?

I saw that, it's confirmed that its a metalpak, the case is DVD sized and that the competitor is a US only retailer. So, very very good chance (like 95%) we could get one with a similar (if not identical, with a slight size change from DVD sized to BD). Can't wait, only thing I would like is if they could pack in an empty Iron Man 1 case, although that would seem very unlikely.

Confirmed in what sense? can we just be focused on the Steelbook? I just dont get it why others were pushing non-steelbook products as a mean in a discussion revolving within steelbook only.
Funny how you confirmed a product ahead of time where youre main basis is probabaly a discussion from another forum.
