Re: Ironman 2 steelbook

[ Edited ]

Hi Ricardo Feitoza,

I'm sorry if my post was clear. We are not suppressing your criticism and we always forward issues to our community manager. I was only pointing out that Ian has moved on to other things within FS and is Unable to provide information about steelbooks. I'm sorry if back in the days you would get "hot and Fresh info" and these days the info is not as abundant. All I was pointing out in my previous post is that this community is not solely created to provide Steelbook information and that Brana provides informations when he can.

Hope that clears everything up.

Re: Ironman 2 steelbook

Guys, every single Steelbook release that is happening or not happening is up on the forumn. We had a couple of slow months over the summer with the release schedule as was so there wasn't a lot to talk about regarding Steelbook. Also, as much as Iron Man 2 was "confirmed" but me many months ago, I had to eat crow when the studio switched their strategy overnight and was saying NO to Steelbook exclusives, especially for Iron Man 2. I try to be as honest about these scenarios as possible and all I can say about this year was there was a shift away from Steelbook for some studios (Paramount, Disney). As much as you guys would love Steelbook updates, news and info every day, it's just not alway there.

Now we are working on some exciting things of course and will share what we can as soon as we can so please hold tight. We listening to your feedback and working taking Steelbook to the next level in terms of your interaction and input.

Depends on the serial number. I believe the lower number will be much rarer.

I don't see what the big deal is about the serial number.  I would never pay a premium for it.

Guys, if you guys want the US IRON MAN MetalPack, the best thing you can do is grab an extra copy of PRINCE OF PERSIA, or TOY STORY 1 or 2 in IronPack form from Future Shop.

Then hit the blu-ray trade forums and find some US guy who is looking to trade.  There are lots of Targets and the US is a big place, so there should be tons of copies available.

Alternatively, you can do what a lot of US folk do with Future Shop.  That is, find a friend or relative who's address you can use and order directly off the US website.  I have a friend in the US who is gracious enough to do this for me.

Typically when you produce something with serial numbers that is insinuating they are unique, therefore each one is as rare as the next or the one before. Whether you get 0001 or 5000 there is only 1 of each so no reason for one to cost more than another because of rarity. Whether collectors will determine lower numbers are “worth” more to them is another thing, but it is entirely unrelated to how rare they are.
