NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN/GANGS OF NEW YORK SteelBooks?

I am surprised this has not been asked here yet, but a Canadian competitor with three letters has SteelBook versions of NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, and GANGS OF NEW YORK, which are being released on BD on the 28th of September.

Future Shop has the same cover for GANGS OF NEW YORK, but doesn't mention anything about a SteelBook release here:

Does anyone know if there will be SteelBook versions available from Future Shop as well?

Yea I wish futureshop would get them because I'd rather buy it from them.

Just saw the pics over of these over at the competitor's site. Unfortunately they have bilingual packaging, so it's a pass for me. Just as well that the money will stay in my pocket. Sincere thanks for a botched job, competitor!

Are you kidding?  Do you mean the teeny tiny line in fine print in French?

I didn't even notice it until you mentioned it.  The overall graphics more than make up for this tiny imperfection.

LOL, I am not sure why we'd expect there to be no French on some releases in Canada, as many people there speak French. I don't live in Canada or speak French, but I am not bothered by other languages on Steelbook covers, especially if the release is from another country, where different languages are spoken.

Sue me, I like my covers as clean and uncluttered as possible. It doesn't matter if there's French on there or German...cramming things onto the cover and spine uglies up a cover in my opinion. No, I don't care if my cereal boxes (for example) have french on them, but if I'm going to spend $30 on something that's going to be on my shelf forever, I want it to look good, ya dig?

Nothing against french in general...just cluttered and junked up covers.

atripod-I can definitely understand the desire for a  lack of clutter on the case -i.e Green Zone with  all of the critics' reviews on the front-it looked like a newspaper ad for a theater release, IMO.  I have 130+ Steelbooks and I always prefer clean looking covers, myself.
