I posted this on another thread, but for completism...
For each of the previous releases, I had to wait until after I woke up at 7:30am to place an in-store pick-up order, but still was able to do this. They seemingly have changed this for Ratatouille, as like the previous poster has said, they now show it as "Information Not Available." I noticed that they hadn't updated their system by the weekend, and thought they might be changing how they do things.
Being that I saw 6 copies held for in-store pick-up of Nightmare last week, I bet they realized they had to run this as first come, first serve. I don't mind too much, but it sure makes it a bit more important to get out there first thing in the morning. And definitely makes the pre-order VERY important in case you can't get out there early.
I am VERY frustrated about this. Had I know that, I would have pre-ordered. I am VERY glad I was ready to put in an order for Monsters, Inc. and Up this week, because what I had been told previously is that ISPU was a perfect way to confirm your hold on an item if you could not pre-order it.
It's BS and I would have what, had to make my way to FS to stand in line without having been told that was the case? Boo.... oh, that was a bit of a pun, wasnt' it?
Anyway, if it's going to be changed, someone needs to be made aware of this. I was so thankful to get my copy of NBC, so to have this happen without any notification, bleh. Garbage.
