The Last Airbender Steelbook!

Please make this happen when it hits Blu-ray in November.

My personal opinion here, but why? The movie was terrible.

I personally loved the movie, isn't that what movies are about anyway? Personal tastes. I can't think of a single movie that has unanimous love or hate.

Re: The Last Airbender Steelbook!

Yeah, but I think we can get general consensus about movies that suck and movies that are good.

For example, STAR WARS, BACK TO THE FUTURE, ALIENS, THE LADY IN THE WATER, CATWOMAN, APOCALYPSE NOW, THE GODFATHER, MEET THE SPARTANS, DANCE FLICK.:smileywink:

Having said that, there is a history of bad movies getting the SteelBook treatment, so you might get your wish.

Some do Greg but that doesn't really mean anything. And good point, this will probably get a beautiful embossed steelbook to encourage sales lol I sure hope so, I loved the movie!!

Re: The Last Airbender Steelbook!

I haven't seen it yet, so I will take your word on it.

I am somewhat disappointed that it didn't become a larger summer hit in the theatres.  The comments I have read thus far have all been lukewarm, but I will give this title a chance when it comes out on BD.

Re: The Last Airbender Steelbook!

There will be no steelbook for this unfortunately. When we work with studios to determine what is possible and what titles we want to do, often times perception around box office success plays a role and this one was right on the fence. I would honestly say if they had already announced that part 2 was being made and on the scheudle it would hav helped the cuase, but last I heard they haven't decided on that yet.

Re: The Last Airbender Steelbook!

Thanks Brana, hopefully they approve the next two films and we get a steelbook trilogy. It's such a shame when good films based on TV shows get blasted because they don't include enough. I don't know how they could possibly squeeze 24 episodes into a two hour movie. Day one buy.

Same situation around box office.
