Any idea if Lady and the Tramp will be released in a "collectible package" i dont' want to double dip on this title.

Seems like every year disney releases a wave of their titles with collectible packaging. It usually doesn't happen until later in the year though... (like Octoberish?)

I have no clue if Lady and the Tramp will be on that wave... BUT if i were to bet on it. I would think so. (like Bambi, Incredibles, etc)

Its also is possible disney wont do ANY collectible packing this year... Who knows!?

All i know is that i wont be buying it unless its some sort of Steelbook/IronPack.

This is a tough call.

Even though they do re-release titles in the Fall, this edition of LADY AND THE TRAMP comes with $10 off of THE MUPPETS next month which does come with a collectible case.

I plan on buying THE MUPPETS anyway.  As well, you get the poster, and I have $8.00 off because I am upgrading from the DVD, which brings my effective price down to about $11.00.

Not all Disney releases get re-released with a collectible case either.  Case in point is TANGLED.  I was very disappointed that it wasn't included in the Collectible Case list last year (or was it the year before?).

The $8 coupon is for the Combo Pack with Digital Copy that goes for $39.99. The $5 is for the Pack without Digital Copy that goes for $29.99. Can we apply the $8 to the one without the Digital Copy?

If effort was made to create two separate coupons for the two different versions of the movie, you won't be able to use the higher end coupon for the less expensive version.

Agreed, I'm not gonna waste my money on these Disney titles anymore unless they are Collectible packaging.  They would probably sell so many more if they would just release them when they first come out instead of making people like me wait 8 months. No more double dipping!!!

I'm just gonna wait and see and if by, towards the end of the year there's no news of it coming, then I'll just buy the blu (at a reduced price by then online or otherwise). I'm in no rush to get these re-released titles...unless of course it's a collectible case lol then I'll buy instantly.

Exactly my point!!! This is what Disney and Future Shop make us do.

Just keep in mind that some titles (like SLEEPING BEAUTY) go back in the vault and may not be available later on.  THE LADY AND THE TRAMP willl likely go back in the vault, I think.

While I totally agree in not wanting to double-dip, the Disney releases are too good not to own.  I think they are the most worthwhile purchases because, unlike something like BRIDESMAIDS, I know I will be watching the Disney films over and over.  If you have kids, this is a no-brainer.

They are animated classics and Disney always does a top-notch restoration for it's BD release.

With the coupon and the $10 off THE MUPPETS, the price for THE LADY AND THE TRAMP is almost $10.

For that price, I'm willing to gamble for a double-dip.  You can always sell your used copy later and get your $10 back.

I hear you, but these "vaulted" titles are readily available on (competitor), (competitor) etc. and usually for a lower price depending on how long after the release you wait.
