I was browsing the website in the games section and noticed something peculiar. The site has no product page for DanceDanceRevolution II.
Now I know once games reach a certain age, they are slowly phased out, but this game was released last October of 2011. I highly doubt it reached the end of its lifespan already.

Sometimes when a product is sold out with no intention to re-stock, it is removed from the online catalog.
Games like DDR usually come bundled and in limited supply, and four months is actually a pretty long time for a game.![]()
Assuming that they had it there in the first place, it could have been pushed out with all of the new games that arrived since October 2011.

Thanks for the reply. It's sad to see that happen as the game has been acclaimed to be one of the best versions released in a very long time.

DDR2 and the DDR franchise has been totally overshadowed now by the JUST DANCE series of games.
JUST DANCE 3 was released in the Fall of 2011 on all platforms and they have immediately taken over the market.
I have both DDR and JUST DANCE (1-2, SUMMER, KIDS, and KIDS 2) as well as MICHAEL JACKSON: THE EXPERIENCE, and ZUMBA.
While DDR is fun, the newer generation of dance games require you to actually dance, rather than follow steps on a dance mat. Your motions and moves are tracked via the Wiimote, PS3 Move or the Kinect. No mat is required.
You can still find DDR2 in retail outlets. I think any copies you find at Future Shop are likely clearanced by now. I have seen them in other stores though.
If you haven't given the JUST DANCE or MICHAEL JACKSON/BLACK EYED PEAS/ABBA: THE EXPERIENCE dance games a try, I would highly recommend it -- especially if you or your family members are dancing machines!
*Disco ball not included.
