So I bought 2 DSI points cards at $20 each.  I made a mistake, because I assumed I could use these for my kids' 3DS (1 for each), but apparently you can't.  I now found out there is a seperate 3DS pre-paid card to buy (not points). 

So on 1 of the cards, I actually scratched off grey layer to enter the pin.  Obviously the 3DS didn't accept, so the points haven't been used.  Will futureshop take the cards back for an exchange/refund?  One card still has the pin covered, but the other is scratched off an revealed.  I'm hoping they can just take them back and de-activate them, and they can discard the one card..

Unfortunately, any POSA (point of sales activation) cards cannot be refunded. Since FS will have no way to determine if the card is used or not.

If any problem arise with these cards, the customer needs to directly contact the provider directly (nintendo, microsoft, sony, etc....).
