Ugh, maybe you subconsciously dropped because you want to upgrade. =)
Your best Solution is to contact Nintendo. They have a website link that lists a whole bunch of troubleshooting tips and next steps for repair.

Find a friend who is an engineer and give it to him to tinker with. He may be able to fix it for free. ![]()
At this point it wouldn't matter much anyway and a unit that doesn't turn on is one of the easier problems to fix.

The best thing that you can do to fix your Nintendo DS Lite is to try and fix it yourself. This is actually not as hard as it sounds and almost anyone can do it. There are many how-to videos and do it yourself guide that can help you to repair your Nintendo DS Lite on your own.
