Hello,

I've seen some posts about the steelbooks being available in stores, but nothing has been definitively said about those who have online pre-orders. Can someone from Futureshop please clarify what will happen to those with online pre-orders? Willl we have to go to the store to get one or will they be shipped out?

I feel this new topic was needed as nothing has been definitively answered about this situation.

Nothing's been answered because this is not a customer service forum.

The only answers you can depend on are answers and solutions from other users.

Waiting for a formal answer or apology or free credit for your wasted time is just an exercise in futility as that is not the mandate of this forum.

If you want the SteelBook bad enough, go to the store.  Don't wait for your online preorder.  That is what I did.

they phoned me yesterday about my canceled order, confirming the address and preparing for shipment for free of charge. just be patient.

I live in the US, so there isn't any way I can go to a store. I had someone order this for me and they live a ways away from a FS store, that's why I'm asking. I've seen people from FS post here, so I figured someone from the company could find out some info and answer.

Yup, it was Kat who called me the morning of yesterday, confirming my identity, mailing address and then processed the shipment for free of charge and she even knew about the voucher code I was asking for. Glad I'm the only one here in the magic list to received call from FS agent and I'm also in the US as well.

I can't believe they said they were going to email everyone, but they haven't yet! It has been over a week now since the game's release and still nothing

For what it's worth, I sent an email to Futureshop about my online pre-order and if I would get the steelbook. Today I got this response:

There was a delay in receiving the promotional Steel Book and therefore they will be shipped separately from the game around December 2, 2011. If you the have not received the promotional item by December 9, 2011 please contact us and we will investigate further.

I just received mine today by mail. The shipping date had November 25th. Not too sure if it would vary by region, but I'm located in Brampton.
