To clarify on this, 3DS cartridges are shaped differently from regular DS cartridges, and as such, will not fit into an old DSLite or DSi.  Here is a picture that should help illustrate it.  If you wish to play this game, or any other 3DS branded game, you will need to pick up a 3DS.
