So, I just put in two applications online for Futureshop Northland & Beacon Hill - Comission -  stores in Calgary. I'm wondering how long they take the generally reply if they do? Is there a huge list of applications waiting to be reviewed? The confirmation email sent to me stated that they will keep my resume on file incase any positions do open if I am not requested for an interview. Are the other people's who are on file a first come first serve basis?

I'm looking to find employment within a month hopefully.

Hi,

How fast you're contacted depends on the particular store-- some may need associates right away and others may be full. If the store is hiring, you may be called within two weeks time. I'm not sure how the resumes are ordered in the system, but those who apply late still get a fair chance; I would know as I was one of those late applicants.
