I still have an availble credit remaining on the the HSBC card(future shop)of 220.00$.
why should we be penlised as good paying customers,and have the risk of getting refused by Chase for the new aplication.And in the same time as a result of a potential refusal by chase,being marked as a refusal on our credit filles.
my card was in good standing with hsbc,and I got refused credit with Chase.
As a result, you(future shop) delibertley chose to lose a customer.
I am sure that I am not the only one....

I still have some balance remaining on my HSBC card, but also have a Chase card at this time. I have recently switched banks and so want to make online payments from this new chequing account. However, I cannot figure out whether I have the correct payees available to make payments to both card providers appropriately. The payees my online bank website says are available when I ask for "Future Shop" are the following:
- Future Shop
- Future Shop WFFRS
- Future Shop Consumer - Consommateur GE Capital
There is no mention of "Future Shop HSBC" or "Future Shop Chase", and if I try to set up the payee as either HSBC Retail or Chase, it tells me I have an invalid account number or incorrect account prefix in both cases. Can anyone advise? Thanks!

Enter your card number after you pick one of those options. If it's not the right one, the number will be refused.

Hello there JJT! Another option to paying online is to bring in your HSBC card or bill and make a payment at your local Future Shop. Feel free to visit a Customer Service Representitive about making a payment.

I was wondering if this was ever resolved? I had the same issue on the weekend. I previously had a future shop card and was given a 2500$ limit. THis one was automatically cancelled when they switched to Chase and on the weekend I went to purchase new fridge and stove and WHAM..Denied credit.
Just to throw it out there, I was at the bank in May since my husband and I re-mortgaged and my credit score was 732, which is considered very high = Excellent. Since then I have had a raise in my pay as well and somehow denied a credit card for 2500 limit I requested.
I think this is totally unacceptable.
