Hi, I got a quote in store earlier this week for an Imac...

Hi, I got a quote in store earlier this week for an Imac and Ipad ... with the protection plan comes to about 2150.00 anyhow, I have bad credit so don't qualify for a credit card but do you have some kind of layaway plan? I can pay it within 30 days?

The only financing or deferred payment options that Futureshop has available is through the use of the Futureshop Credit Card. My suggestion with what you've said would be to save up for the 30 days you expect to have enough money and then do the purchase.

Ok... I did  read somewhere that there is a layaway thing that you put whatever you want on it, it'll freeze the price and its good for 30 days.  Then you pay more another time and do a new layaway thing... Is this option not available???

The layaway option only used when a product is out of stock. Layaway acts as a desposit for when the item becomes available again, you may purchase it at the current price. Usually, it's for high priced items....whereas if it's something like a game, a simple raincheck would do the same (unless specified 'no raincheck').

I would also add that a Layaway is not a purchase. You do not receive the product until it's fully paid off when using a Layaway.
