Online order question

I recently tried twice to order a product online that will release in March. The first time I ordered as a guest user, and received no email confirming the order, so I contacted customer support and they said it appeared the order wasn't completed. I created an account and tried ordering again. I still haven't received an email and my order history is empty.
The future shop purchase terms and conditions states " If Future Shop ("we") has your product(s) in stock, we will email you a shipping notice confirming that the items have shipped and are en-route to you; that notice is our acceptance of your order."
Does this mean I won't receive any email regarding the order until the product releases and ships in March? How can I confirm that my order exists?
If this is the case, I am worried that I bought the same item twice.
Will I have any opportunity to cancel one of the orders? The terms and conditions states " If you wish to cancel an order, you may request a cancellation by logging into your account and cancelling your order or by calling 1-800-663-2275. However, we may not receive and process your cancellation request before we accept and ship your order, in which case your cancellation request may not be effective."
So it sounds like I will not receive confirmation of an order until the item ships, yet I can't cancel an order once it ships. I haven't ordered anything from future shop online before, so I would appreciate any guidance in this.

Okay, but for others on the forums, does future shop send confirmation and charge you when you place an order, or only once they ship the item to you? As my original post reflects, I find the purchase terms and conditions to be confusing with respect to order confirmation and cancellation.

Upon completion of your order, you will receive an order number for guest account. That should be used for tracking your order. If you have an account with a valid email address, an order confirmation email would be sent first when your order is received (generally, this happens instantly). Afterwards, you will receive another email regarding the shipment of the product.
As for your other question, you will not be charged until the actual item is en route to you. Hopefully, that clears up some things for you. ![]()
