PC Problem

Hello,

I purchased an Acer AM5630 desktop/monitor combo from my local FS back in 08 or 09.
It ran fine for a couple months, then the computer suddenly wouldn't start. I took it
back to the local FS and they told me the Motherboard was fried, it was replaced under
warrenty.

Everything has been fine, until today.

Same thing, it won't start. I know its probley not covered under warrenty, but is there anything
FutureShop could do?

Thanks

Re: PC Problem

You can still bring the tower to your nearest Future Shop for diagnostics. If it's covered by a Product Service Plan, there should be no problems in getting any replacement parts the tower may need. Manufacturers generally provide only a one year warranty on computer desktops.

If it's not covered by any warranty, you'll need to foot the repair bill yourself. Future Shop or any computer repair place can provide a diagnosis and estimate for a standard fee, and they'll be able to advise whether repair or replacement of the tower is more economical.
