I bought these headphones that broke on the third day and I want to return them for another pair but I'm missing the manual and one earbud so is there a penalty for that??? And if so, how much??

I would think you need the entire product in order to do a return or exchange.
I can understand maybe losing a manual, but an entire earbud? On a set of headphones? Isn't that half of the product?

It's hard to say, but I would bring my packaging, receipts and product (as complete as you can get it) back into the store and ask for the exchange. If your headphones are broken, they should be able to do an exchange for you.
I don't think there are partial fees for missing parts. They will either accept the exchange or they won't.
