Auto-suggest helps you quickly narrow down your search results by suggesting possible matches as you type.
Nope anyone can post pictures (I don't work for FS and my picture is on here, as are several others). Just load a picture on a photo sharing site (e.g. Facebook, Photobucket, Flickr, etc), then copy the url, and then in the section where you compose your message, just click on the little button that looks like a tree (beside the chain link). You can then use this to paste the link and tada, your picture should be linked.

P.S. If you go from a site like Facebook, make sure you have your picture security setting set to public otherwise the pictures won't show up.
