Is there no way to post a pic directly here, without having one on some other site? It's nice to see all the faces behind the names, I was hoping to add mine, but I don't do social networking sites. Can't they do something like they did for the photo contest where we just upload it to here please?

On top of the field where you type a message (when you post something), there's a tools bar. One of those icons, it's a little green tree, will give you the option to upload a picture directly from your own computer and post it on the site.
No need to use social networking or any other web hosting sites.

I'm definitely new to the forums, but have been an avid Futureshop customer for many years. Most of my experience is related to video games/movies, connecting different devices to each other, sometimes in unconventional manners . I'm also experienced in minor computer repair, both software and hardware related, but I'll admit I'm not the most "up-to-date" on newer computer technology.
I definitely spend more than a fair share of my time playing video games, of many different varieties, so I can definitely answer a lot of questions that come related to that. I enjoy just about all things technology-related and am a quick study on many things, so I hope to learn a few things while I am here. I've already learned lots from the experts that make this forum what it is.
Outside of that, I work as a Commissionaire (security guard for the Federal Government - not as awesome as it sounds, believe me ) and I spend the rest of my work time as a Canadian Forces Reserve Officer with the Canadian Cadet Program, helping to administer the program to youth. I am also engaged, with a wedding date schedule for August 21, 2010. I'm really excited about it.
Since I really only have the opportunity to check this while I am at work (which is a lot of the time), I could only find so many photos of me from when I uploaded them to photobucket, so the photo for you guys to see is of me in my military uniform from a few years ago (2006, I think), but I really haven't changed much, except I may have gotten a bit wider
Anyway, I hope to learn a lot from the many experts that are here, and I hope I can help a few people out along the way as well Looking forward to getting to know the regulars a bit better!
