Just bought an LG 55" LED 3D, and in the package came this nice looking TS913ES Home Theatre system. I cannot get the sound to work properly when I connect my PS3 to the receiver. For those of you aware of this particular receiver, I've tried every possible HDMI connection available. I've also gone directly into the TV and ran an optic cable both from the TV to the receiver, and the PS3 to the receiver, with the same result: sound is coming out much too high for such low volumes. You can hear regular sounds, but they sound absolutely terrible, causing the speakers to make popping sounds AT LOW VOLUME (3-10 range, with 10 being ear-straining).
My roommates and I have triple checked out speaker wire connections, and have been doing some in-depth googling, to no end. The receiver is ARC enabled, but considering I've tried bypassing that by using optic cable, I'm starting to think this is manufacturer defect..
Also ran a surround sound test and all speakers + sub checked in good, not sure if static is the default sound but thats what I was hearing from each point.
