Well, we need some more information about your situation.
First, what are you using the Video 1 input for, do you have devices plugged into it?
Second, what are you selecting Video 1 on, the TV or the amplifier?
Third, how the heck do you change a DVD if all your stuff is downstairs...do you have to go up and down all the time? (That question was for me, just curious)
